Moving Picture to a Different Background Using Adobe Photoshop

This is another project we did for our course subject Multimedia Production with Laboratory. No copyright infringement intended for the owners of the background pictures I used. Thank you! :)

Progress 0:

And I grabbed one from my pictures,
Opened both to Adobe Photoshop,
then changed the image size of both to 300 resolution.

Progress 1:
I used the Pen Tool (P) and zoomed in the picture so that I can see the edges clearer, and see better the path I'm working on.

Progress 2:
I traced the whole outline of myself in the picture, still using the pen tool.

Progress 3:
After tracing the outline,
I connected the last anchor point to the first one to create a path.

Progress 4:
I clicked CTRL and Enter to make a selection,
made sure the layer is unlocked,
then clicked CTRL SHIFT I to inverse the selection.

 Progress 5:
I clicked DELETE to remove my previous background,
then used the Move Tool (V)
to transfer my cropped picture into the Background I grabbed from the net.

 Progress 6:
I clicked CTRL T for Free Transform, to re-size the cropped picture,
and using the Move Tool, I moved the picture to my desired position.

Progress 7:
I used the Levels (CTRL L) to edit the lighting and shadows, so that the lighting of the cropped picture will fit to the lighting of the background.

Progress 8:
Finished Product!
I just made some adjustments with the position, and removed some remains from the original background of my picture. :)

Here are some other pictures I edited! :)

At the Eiffel Tower :D

At the Manila Hotel Lobby :)

At the Marina Bay Sands ;)

Thank you for viewing! :D God bless! :*
